Establishment and tasks of the National Coordination Centre

The European Centre of Excellence for Cybersecurity (ECCC), in collaboration with the Network of National Coordination Centres, will build a robust cybersecurity knowledge community. This aims to facilitate collaboration and the sharing of expertise and capabilities among all relevant stakeholders, particularly among small and medium-sized enterprises, academic and research communities, and the industry.

This ecosystem will strengthen the capacity of the knowledge community, protect our economy and society from cyber attacks, preserve research excellence, and strengthen the European industry’s competitiveness in cyber security.

The European Centre of Competence, in conjunction with member states, industry, and the knowledge community, will develop and implement a joint program to advance technology in cybersecurity and its broad application in society and business, with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.
